Full job description

  • ORANMORE LODGE HOTEL GALWAY is a four-star hotel comprising of 70 bedrooms, conference and banqueting for 200, health and leisure facilities located 7kms from Galway city

Key responsibilities:

  • provide strategic leadership and direction to all hotel departments
  • ensure the delivery of exceptional standards of guest experience and services
  • drive revenue growth and profitability through effective budgeting and financial management
  • identify and implement opportunities to increase profitability and operational efficiencies
  • monitor department costs / labour expenditure and maintain strict budgetary control
  • ensure full compliance with Health & Safety / Food and Firesafety / employment legislation

Ideal candidate must have:

  • must have a minimum of 5 years or more hotel experience at General Manager / Operations Manager in a 4/5* hotel with a similar operation
  • a strong commercial and financial acumen with managing budgets and labour costs
  • be a leader in coaching a dedicated hotel management team
  • be flexible in supporting operational requirements when required to do so
