RESTAURANT / FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER – NEW OPENING

Town Yard Modern Bistro is opening in Blackrock this October and we're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our management team.

Following the success of Town Yard Malahide, we're bringing Town Yard to Blackrock and are now building the team that will establish our new restaurant from day one.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager or strong Front of House Supervisor who wants to play an important role in launching and developing a new restaurant.

The Role

Working with the owners and senior management team, you'll help take responsibility for the day-to-day Front of House operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Front of House service
  • Managing and motivating the restaurant and bar teams
  • Delivering consistently excellent customer service
  • Running busy services and managing the floor
  • Training and developing new team members
  • Assisting with staff rosters
  • Managing bookings and table plans
  • Handling customer queries professionally
  • Maintaining high presentation and service standards
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Cash handling and daily controls
  • Helping build a positive, professional team culture

About You

We're particularly interested in candidates who:

  • Have management or supervisory experience in a busy restaurant, gastro pub or quality hospitality environment
  • Are confident leading a team during busy services
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Are organised and commercially aware
  • Can motivate, train and develop staff
  • Lead by example
  • Remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Understand what it takes to create a consistently great guest experience

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys hospitality and wants to take ownership of their role.
