Full job description

The Graduate is a very busy, vibrant Pub & Restaurant, with two function rooms located in Killiney, County Dublin. Eircode A96 KA09.

We are looking for a Bar Manager to join our current managment team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience working within the Irish hospitality sector, especially within a high paced pub, restaurant & functions environment. They must be available to work full-time within Ireland and also have excellent speaking English.

Current & Previous experience should include the following:-

o Day to Day running of the pub

o Cashing up & reconciliations of cash floats daily

o Opening & Locking up the premises

o Management & Training of Staff

o Checking stock levels

o Celler management, stock rotation & cleanliness

o Meeting with Suppliers

o Ordering – using Procure Wizard purchasing software

o Organisation of Functions, taking Bookings & ensuring all function rooms achieve the highest standard of presentation at all times. Cleaning – direct dealings with the cleaning staff, ensuring every detail of the cleaning procedures are being adhered to and meet the high standards required.

o Setting up & Implementation of Procedures to ensuring efficiency, smooth running of all operations & standards are kept at the highest level

o Liaise with Head Chef, Chef on Duty & all Kitchen staff

o Organising & carrying out various promotions

o Identify any issues for maintenance & organise repair works to be carried out

o Overseeing the set up of various functions

o Ensuring every function is successful to the highest standards whilst function is taking place.

Pay: €50,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
