Full job description

Restaurant Manager required for a boutique 4-star hotel in Galway City.

As Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for managing the operation, financial performance and development of the restaurant as well as leading and developing the team.

The successful candidate must be competent in all aspects of Food & Beverage service and have a proven excellent customer service record.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a management or supervisor role within the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure guest service is delivered by the team to the highest required hotel standard.
  • To implement training at all stages of service.
  • To maintain a correct and high standard of service.
  • To develop, implement, record and maintain departmental standards.
  • To positively promote sales within your department and maximise sales opportunities for the whole hotel.
  • To maintain, cost control, wage control and stock control.
  • To maintain regular and effective communication within your team at all levels, by holding regular briefing sessions.

Excellent salary and benefits available DOE.
