We are seeking a dynamic, handson Bar & Restaurant Operations Manager who thrives on being present on the floor, supporting the team, and driving exceptional guest experiences through active leadership. This role is ideal for someone who leads from the front working sidebyside with staff, solving problems in real time, and ensuring smooth, efficient service throughout every shift.

As an experienced hospitality professional, you will oversee all daytoday operations, including frontofhouse service, bar leadership, kitchen coordination, and event execution. You will maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction by being a visible, supportive presence across the venue.

As a peopleleader, you must excel at recruiting and training teams, motivating staff through encouragement, coaching, and daily onfloor engagement. Foster a positive, collaborative environment where staff feel supported and empowered to deliver their best work.

Bring strong operational expertise in cost control, revenue growth, and service planning, combined with a proactive, handson approach to problemsolving and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide active operational oversight across all areas - frontofhouse, backofhouse, bar operations, and event delivery - through a consistent onfloor presence, supporting teams during service and ensuring smooth, efficient workflows.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by engaging directly with customers, monitoring service quality in real time, and upholding the highest standards of brand excellence throughout every shift.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team through handson coaching, daily support on the floor, and fostering a positive, collaborative environment where staff feel confident and empowered.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and payroll with a practical understanding of service demands, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Drive revenue growth by actively supporting sales initiatives on the floor, promoting upselling, monitoring performance, and implementing strong costcontrol measures.
  • Oversee financial performance including P&L, budgeting, stock control, and inventory management, while working closely with teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and responsible resource use.
  • Collaborate with marketing by supporting promotional campaigns, contributing operational insights, and helping execute social mediadriven initiatives through onsite activation and team engagement.
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, health and safety standards, and internal policies, maintaining a safe, wellrun environment for both guests and staff.
  • Represent the brand at community events, promotional activities, and local partnerships, acting as a visible, approachable ambassador who strengthens the venue's reputation.
