CROWNE PLAZA Dublin Northwood | HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS Dublin Northwood. Multi-Brand Hotels | Convention Centre | Meeting & Event Centre | Hotel Complex. 425 Rooms & Suites, Convention and Event Centre 1000 Guests, 30 Meeting and Event Suites, Banqueting Capacity 800 Guests.

The Person:

We are looking to recruit a friendly, dedicated individual who will quickly fit in with the team spirit in our Kitchens Department. You will be looking for an environment in which to learn and to develop your skills/increase your experience.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Passion for producing high-quality food and delivering exemplary service
  • Ability to work/multi-task in a fast-paced environment, as part of a team
  • You should be able to demonstrate flair, creativity and skill in the Kitchen
  • Must have previous experience in Bar, Banqueting and Restaurant food preparation
  • Must be a strong Team player
  • Will be knowledgeable with food styles and menus in a-la-carte preparation and presentation
  • Must have full knowledge of HACCP regulations and ensure this is maintained each day
  • Must have previous 4 / 5-Star hotel food preparation experience
  • Must be available to work both early morning and evening shifts, Monday to Sunday.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Executive Team, to ensure the consistent, smooth running of food service
  • Maintain a high level of food quality which will exceed guests' expectations with every dish
  • To ensure all food is prepared and served to Hotel standards at all times
  • Must display excellent attention to detail, maintaining the highest standards in food production, presentation and taste
  • To ensure effective stock control
  • To ensure that cleanliness and food safety is adhered at all times - HACCP Management
  • Assist in other Kitchens, as required
  • To assist/mentor Commis Chefs
