Full job description

Raha Indian Cuisine — featured in the Sunday Times Top 20 Places to Go for Food in Ireland and winner of multiple national awards — is looking for an experienced, reliable Senior Front of House person to take ownership of our dining room.

This is not a typical waitress role. You will open the restaurant, prepare the floor, manage service, and ensure every guest has an exceptional experience.

We are a small, award-winning 35-cover restaurant with a warm team. We need someone who takes pride in hospitality, notices the details, and brings calm professionalism every shift.

What you will do:

Open the restaurant and prepare the dining room before every service. Set tables, glassware, menus, lighting, and music. Welcome and seat guests. Take orders, advise on dishes, and manage the flow of service. Process payments. Upsell drinks and starters naturally. Clear and reset tables throughout the evening. Lead and guide the weekend FOH team member on Friday and Saturday. Close the front of house at the end of night. Maintain the award-winning standard Raha is known for.

What we are looking for:

At least 3 months experience in restaurant front of house or hospitality. Reliable, punctual, and consistent above all else. Confident managing a dining room on your own. Warm and professional with customers. Comfortable with payments, reservations, and basic admin. Available every Wednesday to Sunday including the full Sunday shift.

Wine or drinks knowledge and experience with Indian cuisine are a plus but not essential — we are happy to train the right person.

How to apply:

Send a message with your name, a brief summary of your restaurant experience, and when you could start. A CV is welcome. We will invite suitable candidates for a paid trial shift — the best way for both sides to see if it's the right fit.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term
