Fallon & Byrne is Dublin’s premier food destination and home to our bustling Foodhall, The Wine Cellar, The Dining Room and The Exchange. We are looking for a dedicated Wine Wait Staff to join our dynamic team in our Wine Cellar restaurant, during our busiest and most festive time of the year.

As we are passionate about exceeding our guests’ expectations, you will be extremely customer focused and passionate about delivering a superior experience for our guests.

Please note that these are short term roles until 31st December 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a warm, attentive and engaging service in The Wine Cellar

  • Responsibility for driving wine sales in the restaurant

  • Advising our guests on wine pairings and recommending from our list of over 300 wines available.

  • Keep up your product knowledge and focus on learning about any new products which come in

  • Ensure customer service and food standards are in line with company standards.

  • To provide a seamless guest experience by working harmoniously with the Wine Cellar team and management.

  • To provide feedback to The Wine Cellar manager about customer requests or queries.

  • As well as other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

The Person

  • 1 years’ experience in wine service or a similar role

  • Have solid knowledge of both Irish and international wines

  • A food and wine lover, and love sharing that passion!

  • Outgoing, cheerful, friendly personality

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Embodies our values of excellence, empathy, integrity, innovation and authenticity

  • Innovative in your approach to your role and not afraid to think outside the box

  • Empathetic leader, with the ability to inspire others

  • High attention to detail, same as a high standard of integrity, with sound judgement and a commitment to excellence
