WAITRESS / BAR STAFF

Inishbofin House Hotel, Inishbofin Island, Co. Galway

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Waiters / Bar Staff to join our team at Inishbofin House Hotel for the upcoming season.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy and friendly hotel environment on the beautiful island of Inishbofin, while gaining valuable hospitality experience.

Position Details

  • Starting rate: €14.50 per hour
  • Live-in accommodation provided
  • Accommodation includes a weekly food contribution of €35, deducted from salary
  • Full-time hours available
  • Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service in our bar and restaurant
  • Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serving food and beverages to guests
  • Preparing and maintaining the bar area
  • Processing payments and operating the till system
  • Assisting with setting up and clearing tables
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the premises
  • Working as part of a team to ensure a positive guest experience

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
  • Friendly, positive and professional attitude
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible to work both morning and evening shifts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Please note: this role is only open to those over 18 as serving alcohol is required.
