Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine Japanese-style hospitality.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve sushi, ramen, and other Japanese dishes professionally.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to guests.
• Recommend food and drink pairings.
• Ensure tables and dining areas are clean and well presented.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
• Deliver an outstanding dining experience for every customer.

Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Experience working in a Japanese restaurant, sushi restaurant, ramen restaurant, or other Asian cuisine restaurant.
• Japanese language skills (spoken) to support communication with Japanese-speaking customers and team members.
• Good knowledge of Japanese food, sushi, ramen, and Japanese dining etiquette.
• Experience using restaurant POS systems.
• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Essential Requirements

• Fluent English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Legal right to work in Ireland.

Preferred Skills

• Japanese speaking ability (preferred).
• Knowledge of Japanese food and culture.
• Experience serving Asian cuisine.
• Food safety and hygiene certification.
• Previous hospitality experience.
