Full job description

We are looking for Experienced Bar Staff. The candidate for the position must:

Have a minimum 2 years experience working in Bars/Pubs and Restaurants in Ireland.

Provide excellent customer service as it is paramount to what we do at O'Dwyers. The candidate should greet customers warmly, take drink orders accurately, and ensure that patrons feel welcome and valued.

Candidates are responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes. This includes knowledge of various cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits.

The candidate must also have a strong understanding of the drinks they serve, including the ingredients, flavours, and presentation. They should also be able to make recommendations based on customer preferences.

Candidates must be able to keep track of stock levels. They should monitor inventory, assist in ordering supplies, and manage the storage of drinks and ingredients properly.

Candidates must maintain a clean bar area. This includes cleaning glasses, utensils, and the bar itself, as well as ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.

Candidates must be able to be responsible for processing payments, operating tills, and ensuring that transactions are accurate.

Candidates must be able to work effectively with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, as it is vital for ensuring a seamless service experience.

Candidates must be able to maintain high standards of service regardless of how busy or quite the environment is at that moment of the shift.

Overall, the candidate must be multifaceted, requiring a blend of customer service skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
