Full job description

The Curragower Bar & Restaurant are looking for positive, energetic and hard working people to join our Team.

The role of the Host will include the below:

  • Welcome guests to The Curragower
  • Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list
  • Manage reservations – via email & phone
  • Use of Online reservations system
  • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
  • Escort customers to appropriate table / area
  • Provide menus once they are seated and wish them an enjoyable meal / enjoyable evening
  • Greet & thank customers upon their departure
  • Maintain a clean reception area
  • Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
  • Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
  • Assist wait staff and bar staff as needed
  • Regular communication with Management, Kitchen and Team
  • Excellent customer service skills necessary.

Requirements:

  • Ability to remain calm & friendl under pressure, especially during high volume rushes
  • Must possess an excellent command of the English language
  • Needs to be available for weekend shifts.
  • Must have experience in a similar role
