Looking to earn extra money before returning to college? The Maritime Hotel in Bantry is offering a fantastic seasonal opportunity to join our Restaurant & Bar team as a Food & Beverage Assistant. Perfect for students seeking valuable hospitality experience, flexible seasonal work, and a busy, friendly environment.

About The Role

As part of our F&B team, you’ll be the welcoming face of our service — ensuring guests enjoy a smooth, friendly, and memorable dining experience. Please note: this position involves split shifts, typical of busy seasonal hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet, seat, and assist guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, including cocktails
  • Support service by setting, clearing, and maintaining tables
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and correct order delivery
  • Keep the restaurant and bar areas clean, organised, and fully stocked
  • Share local knowledge and personal recommendations to enhance guest experience
  • Maintain consistently high service standards throughout every shift
