Job Summary

Chef de Partie (CDP)

Sevenhorseshoes Hotel - Belturbet, Co Cavan

We are currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie, to join our busy kitchen team at Sevenhorseshoes Hotel, Belturbet, Co Cavan.

We are offering a part time position, covering Saturday and Sunday shifts.

This position is suited to an experienced and confident chef who is comfortable working across all sections of a busy Hotel kitchen, and can take responsibility for their section while maintaining consistent high standards.

We cater for a wide range of business, which includes our busy restaurant and bar food service, and all other special occasions.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard working Chef with a passion for food and cooking, with flair and imagination, to further their career in an environment that welcomes innovation to enhance the current product offerings using locally produced foods.

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal Candidate Must have strong previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar position

Key Responsibilities

Be capable of working across all sections of the kitchen

  • Must have experience in high volume food operations and will possess excellent communication skills
  • Will ensure cleanliness of the kitchen is in line with Food Hygiene Regulations and to ensure that food preparation and production are carried out to the highest standards to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Have a strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking and presentation

Have the ability to ensure that Must have positive, can-do attitude and must be receptive to constructive feedback from both customers and colleagues alike.

Must be available to work week-end and evening shifts.

Must be reliable, punctual and hardworking

Real food enthusiast.

Detailed knowledge of HACCP

Be confident working under pressure during busy service

Food preparation and presentation is consistently of the highest standard.
