Position: Restaurant Supervisor
Location: 45 MacCurtain Street, Co. Cork
Start Date: Week Commencing 3rd August 2026.

Following the success of our award-winning Salty Dog Restaurant in Ballycotton, we're excited to bring the brand to the heart of Cork City with the opening of Salty Dog Ballycotton Cork on MacCurtain Street this August. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Supervisors to our brand new team.

The Role:

We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Supervisors to support the management team in delivering outstanding guest experiences and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you'll lead by example on the floor, motivate the team, maintain exceptional service standards, and help create a positive working environment where both guests and staff thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the front-of-house team during service.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members.
  • Ensure company standards, procedures, and presentation are consistently maintained.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.

  • Previous supervisory experience in a busy restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with excellent organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
