The Imperial Hotel, Cork, part of the Louis Fitzgerald Group, is seeking an experienced and highly capable Restaurant Manager to lead Helena’s Restaurant within a multi‑outlet hotel environment that includes a high‑volume café, busy conference and banqueting operations, and a vibrant mix of hotel guests and local clientele.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong hospitality professional with proven experience in hotel restaurant management, leading large teams, and driving high‑performance service culture. The ideal candidate will be a confident motivator, an effective collaborator, and a visible presence on the floor — setting standards, coaching teams, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all food and beverage outlets.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial awareness, operational excellence, and the ability to work closely with Kitchen, Conference & Banqueting, Front Office, and senior hotel leadership to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or Senior Supervisor within a hotel or multi‑outlet hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large teams in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene, health and safety, and hotel operational standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest‑engagement skills.
  • Strong financial awareness and proficiency with POS/booking systems, budgets, stock control, and labour management.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑departmental hotel teams.
