Chef de Partie (CDP)

Errigal Country House Hotel – Cootehill, Co. Cavan

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team at the award-winning Errigal Country House Hotel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food, enjoys working as part of a professional team, and thrives in a busy kitchen environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy hotel or restaurant.
  • Be confident running their own section and maintaining high standards at all times.
  • Have a strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Work well under pressure while remaining organised and focused.
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality food.
  • Experience or knowledge of the pastry section would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards.
  • Take ownership of your section, ensuring it is fully prepared for service.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality and consistency.
  • Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
  • Assist with stock rotation, food ordering, and minimising waste.
  • Help train and support junior members of the kitchen team where required.
