Description/Experience

We are looking for an engaging, courteous employee to work in our busy daytime cafes and restaurant. The ideal person should be passionate about quality beverage preparation and customer service. You will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders, and accept payments. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace, customer seating area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods and presentation.

To succeed you should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite.

Barista Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, take their orders, and use excellent time management and organizational skills to prepare and serve coffee, cold drinks, teas, espresso, pastries, cookies and other sweets and drinks.
  • Educate customers about our drinks, treats, and other products.
  • Packaging food and beverages items for sale and take away.
  • Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying bins, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Taking stock and replenishing items on display, at tables, or behind the counter
  • Training all new employees to high company standard.
  • Stock and refill items such as coffee cups, take out containers, napkins, and utensils; supervise stock levels and communicate when necessary to ensure stock levels are always maintained.
  • Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls

· Previous experience in a similar busy environment would be essential.

· HACCAP training preferable.

Opening Hours Monday – Saturday 8.00am – 6.00pm
