Full job description

Why Bovinity?

Bovinity isn’t your dad’s white-tablecloth steak house. We’re the place where marbled rib-eyes hit cast-iron, cocktails come with attitude, and service feels more like hosting your friends dinner party than reciting specials. If you can juggle a busy section, pour water with one hand and defuse a cranky tourist with the other, keep reading.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the welcome. Greet, seat, and manage reservations (OpenTable) like a pro.
  • Talk steak without the snobbery. Dry-aged, grass-fed, bone-in, we’ll teach you the nerdy bits, you bring the swagger.
  • Move. Run plates, clear, reset, swipe cards, pour wine. Fast, clean, no drama.
  • Read the room. Spot the birthday, the breakup, the deal-closing handshake; tailor the vibe.
  • Fix the f---ups. If the POS has a meltdown, you turn it around with charm and a free side of béarnaise
  • Back your crew. We’re one brigade, from the hosts, servers, bar and kitchen. Nobody drowns alone.

Must-Haves:

  • 2 year in a customer-facing hospitality role.
  • Confident, friendly communicator; fluent English.
  • Calm under pressure. Peak Saturday doesn’t faze you.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland & available nights/weekends.

Benefits:

  • Nightly staff dinner and 40 % staff discount.
  • Tips paid weekly, pooled by the hour worked.
  • Training—Upskill in both food & wine knowledge.
  • Camaraderie: shift beers, supplier tastings, and the occasional oyster-shuck speed challenge.
