Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to service. You will support the daily operations of the bar and restaurant, ensuring high standards of customer service, staff performance, and overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the bar and restaurant during service shifts.
  • Lead, support, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Ensure all opening, closing, and service procedures are followed correctly.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to maintain service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, health & safety, and company policies.
  • Support management with scheduling, staff briefings, and shift planning.
  • Assist with cash handling, end-of-day reports.
  • Help implement promotions, events, and seasonal offerings.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous supervisory or senior front-of-house experience in a bar or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of food, drink, and cocktail service is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Organised, reliable, and hands-on.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
