Full job description
We currently have a waiting position in our fine dining restaurant. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Food & Beverage Team. The ideal candidate must be capable of performing in a role that requires perfectionist levels of guest service and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role involves midweek & weekend shifts all year round so flexibility is required. Shifts are generally from 5pm to approx 11.30pm/12am.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Minimum of 2 years waiting experience is preferable
- Wine knowledge would be a distinct advantage
- Proven commitment to excellent guest service and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.
- Proven ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding situations and a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
- Be legally entitled to work in Ireland.
- Be a team player with the ability to multi task.
- Excellent grooming standards.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- This is not a seasonal position, the right candidate must be available midweek & weekends through out the year
