About Us: We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Rang \ Runner to join our dynamic team. If you are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service Excellence: Provide a high level of service to all guests
  • Table Management: Greet and seat guests, take orders, and ensure that all aspects of guests meal are served according to restaurant standards.
  • Menu Knowledge: Possess an in-depth understanding of the menu and be able to guide guests through menu options, suggest pairings, and answer any questions related to ingredients or preparation methods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the team including waitstaff, chefs, and managers to ensure smooth service and timely order delivery.
  • Upselling and Recommendations: Proactively suggest specials, desserts, wine pairings, and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure Cleanliness and Order: Maintain the cleanliness of your section, and ensure all equipment and dining areas meet the restaurant’s hygiene standards.
  • Handling Payments: Accurately take payments, handle cash, and process transactions using the restaurant’s POS system.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role (Chef de Rang, Waiter/Waitress, Runner or Senior Server)
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially in regards to food and beverage service.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Ethic: A passion for delivering exceptional service and a willingness to go above and beyond for the guest.
  • Appearance: Well-groomed, professional, and ready to represent the restaurant’s brand at all times.

Desirable Qualities:

Experience with fine dining or high-end restaurants.

Knowledge of wines and the ability to suggest pairings, a definite plus.
