Food & Beverage Supervisor - New Opening

The Hydro Hotel | Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare

We have just opened the doors to The Hydro Hotel, and we’re looking to build our team and help bring our hospitality vision to life.

A new hotel opening is a unique opportunity. It’s exciting, rewarding, and full of possibilities, but it also means we’re building, learning, and evolving together. We’re looking for people who embrace that journey and want to play a part in creating something special.

If you’re passionate about great service, enjoy connecting with people, and thrive in a lively hospitality environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

You will support the management team in overseeing the daily operation of our restaurant, bar, events, and food service areas.

You will help ensure that service standards are consistently maintained, guests receive exceptional service, and team members are supported to perform at their best.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time on the floor, engaging with guests, coaching team members, and ensuring the smooth running of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management team in the day-to-day operation of food and beverage services
  • Lead and motivate team members during service
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest queries professionally
  • Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and presentation are maintained at all times
  • Assist with staff training, coaching, and onboarding
  • Support stock control, ordering, and inventory procedures
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations
  • Assist with event and group service operations
  • Help create a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have previous experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or senior service role
  • Are passionate about hospitality and guest service
  • Have strong leadership and communication skills
  • Lead by example and enjoy developing others
  • Remain calm and organised in a busy environment
  • Have experience working in restaurants, bars, hotels, or hospitality venues
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
  • Are flexible, reliable, and solution-focused
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting colleagues

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to be part of an ambitious and growing hospitality business
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment
  • Opportunities for training and professional development
  • The chance to contribute ideas and help shape the guest experience
  • Staff meals and employee benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Career progression opportunities within the wider Fiddle + Bow Collection

More Than a Supervisor

We're not looking for someone to simply manage a shift.

We're looking for someone who wants to help build a culture, support a team, and contribute to a hospitality experience that guests remember for all the right reasons.

There will be busy days, challenges, opportunities to learn, and moments where everyone pulls together. That's part of hospitality, and it's part of the journey we're on.

If you're passionate about great service, enjoy leading people, and want to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of The Hydro Hotel, we'd love to hear from you.
