Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You’ll play a key support role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly—ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and organization at all times in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces
  • Operate dishwashing machines and handle manual cleaning when necessary
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation as needed
  • Ensure all waste is disposed of correctly and recycling is followed
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Support kitchen operations during busy service hours
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role preferred but not essential
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Must be legally able to work in Ireland
  • Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Own transport is a plus due to rural location
