Breakfast Waiter / Waitress

Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort, Co. Kildare

Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort is currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Breakfast Waiter/Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service during breakfast.
  • Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, service stations, tables, cutlery and crockery.
  • Take tea, coffee and hot breakfast orders and serve food and beverages efficiently.
  • Assist guests with menu choices, dietary requirements and allergen information.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ensure buffet items are replenished and presented to the highest standard.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow HACCP, food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and deliver exceptional guest care.
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also using initiative and working independently when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, café, hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices is an advantage.
