Experienced Full-Time Waiting Staff

Orby’s by Lucy – The Curragh Racecourse, Co. Kildare

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic full-time waiting staff member to join our friendly team at Orby’s by Lucy.

We operate a busy, fast-paced café and restaurant, so applicants must be confident with customers, comfortable working under pressure and committed to delivering excellent service.

Main responsibilities

  • Welcoming and serving customers in a warm and professional manner
  • Taking orders accurately and confidently
  • Using the till and processing payments
  • Serving food and drinks efficiently
  • Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables promptly
  • Maintaining excellent standards throughout the restaurant
  • Supporting colleagues during busy services
  • Following our established service systems and procedures

The ideal candidate will

  • Have at least one year of experience in a busy café or restaurant as full time
  • Be friendly, professional and customer-focused
  • Be reliable, organised and able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Use their own initiative while also following instructions
  • Be a strong, hands-on team player
  • Have good spoken English
  • Be available to work both weekdays and weekends
  • Have their own transport, as public transport to The Curragh is limited
