,West Street are looking for experienced and friendly **MID WEEK** waiting staff for Front of House to join our team. NOT SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS THAT ARE IN SCHOOL OR COLLEGE MON - SATURDAY!

Creating a fun and memorable experience for our customers and team is key at West Street, and we're looking for someone who is friendly, upbeat and enjoys working in a busy environment to join us! We are looking for candidates who are available for an IMMEDIATE start.

Front of House Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and lead them to their seats.
  • Introduce our menus with knowledge on how to describe different dishes.
  • Take orders.
  • Deliver orders to the table in a timely manner.
  • Ensure customers are looked after through all stages of their visit - nurturing a good rapport with everyone who walks through the door.
  • Keeping an eagle eye on small details (i.e. if someone has been waiting to order, noticing when tables are about to turn over during busy periods, etc).
  • Adhere to food, sanitary and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve any special requirements, wants and needs of customers.
  • Collaborate closely with other staff members.
  • Participate in end of shift clean down of café / bathrooms etc.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience as a wait staff or similar role preferred but not essential
  • Customer oriented approach
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask
  • Meet store operating policies and standards adhering to HACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
  • Engage with and understand other team members through clear and pleasant communication
  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €14.15 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Castleblayney, County Monaghan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
