Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated restaurant Duty Manager to join our food and beverage team in Century Complex. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, supporting restaurant operations, and leading a front-of-house team in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will support the management team in the front-of-house operation of our restaurant while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards throughout.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and support front-of-house staff during service.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer queries and complaints.
  • Assist with staff training and team development.
  • Maintain cleanliness, have excellent organisational skills, and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist with day-to-day restaurant floor supervision and shift management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2/3 years experience in a hospitality/food and beverage supervisory role is essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Flexibility to work mornings/evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
