Position: Chef de Partie
Location: Main Street, Co. Cork
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our kitchen team.

The Role:

We're looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and play a key role in delivering the high-quality food that CUSH is renowned for.

Working alongside our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you'll take ownership of your section, maintaining exceptional food standards, and contributing to a kitchen that values consistency, teamwork, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes to company standards.
  • Take responsibility for your designated section during service.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented consistently.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards.
  • Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising food waste.
  • Support and mentor kitchen staff where required.
  • Work closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver efficient service.
  • Ensure your section remains clean, organised, and fully prepared at all times.
  • Contribute ideas to improve menu quality and kitchen operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready to progress.
  • Passion for producing fresh, high-quality food.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
