Experienced Food & Beverage Assistant

Errigal Country House Hotel – Cootehill, Co. Cavan

We are currently looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at the Errigal Country House Hotel.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a busy hotel, restaurant, bar or similar food and beverage environment. We are looking for someone who is confident, energetic, reliable and able to provide a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to all guests.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and confidently.
  • Serve food and beverages in our bars, restaurant and function areas.
  • Prepare tables and service areas before and after service.
  • Have a good understanding of food and beverage service.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
  • Work efficiently during busy services.
  • Assist with weddings, functions and other hotel events when required.
  • Work closely with supervisors, managers, kitchen and bar teams.
  • Handle guest requests and queries in a professional manner.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience is essential.
  • Experience in a hotel, busy restaurant or bar is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Confident dealing with guests and taking orders.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
