Midweek Evening Waiter

Westport Woods Hotel is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Midweek Evening Waiter to join our Food and Beverage team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service in a busy hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests and providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Providing guests with information on menu items, daily specials and dietary requirements.
  • Serving food and drinks in a professional and timely manner.
  • Checking in with guests during their meal to ensure they are happy with their experience.
  • Clearing and resetting tables throughout service.
  • Preparing tables and service areas before each shift.
  • Processing bills and handling cash and card payments accurately.
  • Maintaining a good knowledge of menus, promotions and hotel facilities.
  • Working closely with the kitchen and wider Food and Beverage team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable service.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant and service areas.
  • Assisting with set up and closing duties as required.
  • Providing excellent customer service and assisting with any guest queries or requests.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is friendly, confident and enjoys working as part of a team. Previous experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment would be an advantage, but training can be provided.

The position is primarily for midweek evening shifts, so applicants should have good availability Monday to Friday.
