Clonabreany House is a private wedding event venue with on-site accommodation for over 100 guests. At Clonabreany House we pride ourselves on providing the perfect wedding events for our couples by offering fabulous service and effortless attention to detail.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Front of House & Reservations Supervisor who will be responsible for leading the daily operation of the Front Office and Reservations team, ensuring exceptional customer service from initial enquiry through to guest departure. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of the business including Reservations, Reception, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Events departments to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support the Front Office & Reservations team.
  • Provide training and ongoing performance feedback.
  • Manage team rosters and ensure adequate staff cover.
  • Monitor performance standards and address operational issues promptly.
  • Promote a positive and professional team culture.

Reservations Management

  • Oversee all accommodation reservations.
  • Ensure booking enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure all correspondence is managed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

Reception & Guest Services

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out shifts.
  • Monitor room readiness, liaising with housekeeping, to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
  • Maintain accurate records of arrivals, departures, room moves, and special requests.
  • Oversee guest-related administration including lost property, guest correspondence, and follow-up communications.
  • Handle guest feedback, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional reception environment.

Food & Beverage Support

  • Support the smooth operation of the breakfast service alongside the Food & Beverage team.
  • Welcome and assist guests attending breakfast, ensuring a professional and friendly first point of contact.
  • Assist with breakfast seating and coordinating guest flow during busy service periods.
  • Assist with the sale and promotion of takeaway food and beverage offerings.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception and breakfast room environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate reservation and guest records.
  • Monitor cancellations and no-shows.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise with Accommodation, Events, Food & Beverage, and Management teams.
  • Ensure effective communication of guest requirements and special requests.
  • Participate in operational meetings and contribute to business improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality, reservations, reception, or front of house operations.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management and reservation systems (Hotsoft is an advantage).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must have excellent written & spoken English
  • Full clean driving license and own transport is essential due to the rural location of the venue
