Markree Castle is seeking enthusiastic and professional Banqueting Team Members to join our team. The successful candidates will play an important role in delivering exceptional service across the Castle's weddings, events, restaurant, bar and other food and beverage operations.

This is a customer-facing role suited to individuals who enjoy working as part of a team in a busy hospitality environment and who take pride in delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests.
• Deliver high-quality food and beverage service in accordance with Markree Castle standards.
• Work across a variety of areas including weddings, private events, banquets, conferences, restaurant service, and other functions as required.
• Set up function rooms, dining areas and wedding reception areas in accordance with event requirements and agreed standards.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain a clean, organised and presentable working environment.
• Assist with the preparation, running and breakdown of weddings and events.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and queries.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure the smooth running of each service.
• Follow all food safety, health and safety, hygiene and company procedures.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and refer issues to a supervisor or manager where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and professionalism at all times.
• Assist with other duties within the Food & Beverage department as reasonably required.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in hospitality, waiting, banqueting service; however, full training will be provided.
• Have a positive, friendly and customer-focused attitude.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Be reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Take pride in delivering a high standard of guest service.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
