Full job description

The 4* family-owned Westport Group are recruiting a permanent Host Cashier to join our innovative and standards driven team at the Westport Hotel Group.

The job involves interacting with our customers, accepting and processing payments for food & beverage, and providing excellent customer service experience which exceeds customers’ expectations and help make the Westport Hotel Group a great place to dine.

Responsibilities:

  • Courteously greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating ensuring hotel standards of service
  • Control the flow of the bookings and table allocation
  • Allocate tables to ensure guests requests are met
  • Accepting and processing payments
  • Cash handling and safe custody of collecting cash
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Other duties required by the Manager
