Bartender/Server Wanted for Bustling Rural Pub

Biddy's O'Barnes is looking for a full-time Multi-talented experienced Bartender/Server staff for a busy, well-established pub/restaurant (10 minutes from Donegal Town & 15 minutes from Ballybofey), experience preferred but also willing to training the right person.

  • Full-time hours available Monday - Sunday.
  • We are looking for a permanent employee so available all year-round is a must.

About Us:
Biddy's O'Barnes is a popular local pub with a dynamic food offering.

Role Responsibilities:

This role will be split between table service (food & drink) and bartending.

  • Shake, stir, and pour a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines with finesse
  • Engage customers with friendly banter and attentive service
  • Maintain a well-stocked bar and inventory of spirits, mixers, and garnishes
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation behind the bar area
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food and drink orders
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements:

  • Prior bartending or serving experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beer styles
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to serve alcohol
