Full job description

Puck Burger is a well established business that started in April 2021 and is based in Portmarnock, North County DubliN, in Portmarnock Sports and Leisure club and operate the bar and restaurant and a food truck on the premises.

We are looking for energetic new chef for our busy kitchen. With everything made in house and all our ingredients are carefully sourced from excellent reputable suppliers. Our goal is high quality and the best food. We are looking for a chef to join our team who loves good food, is willing to work as part of a busy team and enjoys working in a busy kitchen. Chefs can put ideas forward for specials and create some of the monthly specials.

Remuneration will be based on experience and ability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Comply with all HACCP legislation and documentation
  • Customer Service
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Follow all setup and close down procedures
  • Control cost and minimise waste
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Must have previous Chef experience
  • Level-headed/sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Approachable with excellent people skills
  • High Level of initiative
  • Ability to multitask
