Full job description

Foley's Townhouse & Restaurant is inviting applications for a Chef de Partie role in our four star, family run property. Foley's has been delighting guests to Killarney for over 75 years. Located in the centre of Killarney on High Street, Foley's Townhouse offers 29 individually styled bedrooms and has an award winning restaurant.

A key role, supporting the Head Chef, as the Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for organising and running the service smoothly.

The main duties and responsibilities for the role are as follows:

  • Assist the Head Chef in ensuring that the highest quality food is produced for customers
  • Food ordering for the restaurant (assisting with stock counting), ensuring food safety & hygiene procedures are adhered to, along with involvement in menu planning for the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP Regulations and cleaning rotations
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Must be flexible with regards to hours
