At Rockhill House Estate, we believe exceptional service creates unforgettable experiences. We are currently looking for enthusiastic, personable, and professional Part-Time Food & Beverage Assistants to join our award-winning hospitality team.

Whether welcoming wedding guests, serving in our restaurant, or supporting private events, you'll play an important role in creating memorable moments through warm, attentive service in one of Donegal's most beautiful luxury estates.

About the Role

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential as shifts include evenings and weekends, with hours varying according to business levels, weddings, and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to every guest.
  • Provide attentive food and beverage service throughout restaurant, wedding, and event operations.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure efficient service.
  • Set up, maintain, and present dining and event spaces to the highest standard.
  • Clear, reset, and prepare tables promptly to ensure smooth service.
  • Respond confidently and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
  • Recommend menu items, beverages, and hotel experiences where appropriate.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organisation across all service areas.
  • Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and wider hotel team to deliver seamless service.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous hospitality or food and beverage experience (preferred but not essential – full training will be provided for the right candidate).
  • Enjoys providing outstanding customer service.
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
  • Has excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
  • Can remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
  • Has flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Takes pride in attention to detail and maintaining high standards.
