About the Role

Goldline Taverns Ltd – The Rustic Inn is seeking a passionate and experienced Bar staff member . Join our vibrant, family-run bar, restaurant, and event venue in the picturesque village of Abbeyshrule. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet, serve, and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take beverage and food orders accurately and promptly.
  • Provide recommendations on menu items and drink pairings.
  • Ensure guests’ needs are attended to throughout their visit.
  • Handle complaints or requests calmly and effectively, escalating when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, counters, utensils, and glassware.
  • Assist service staff with food and beverage delivery when required.
  • Ensure bar areas remain tidy and presentable.
  • Closing shift duties. Locking up the venue and carrying out closing till duties

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Organisational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Commitment to a full-time, year-round position (not suitable for summer-only applicants).
