Supply & Demand Planner - Luxury Goods, Dublin City Centre | €50,000 – €55,000 + Pension, Health, Dental and more amazing benefits!
My client is seeking an experienced "Supply & Demand Planner" to join a dynamic, internationally connected business operating across premium consumer global markets.
This role sits at the heart of the organisation, driving forecasting accuracy, optimising inventory, and influencing key commercial decisions across multiple regions. You will enjoy playing a critical role in shaping demand planning strategy, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and global planning teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end supply chain.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and elevate the demand forecasting process for established product lines, leveraging data, trends, and commercial insight to drive accuracy and service levels
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing to build robust forecasts for new product launches, ensuring smooth market entry and strong availability
- Act as a key interface between local and global teams, aligning forecasts using Excel and ensuring consistency across markets
- Lead product lifecycle planning, managing phase-ins, phase-outs, and mitigating cannibalisation risks
- Play a key role in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), bringing clarity to supply, demand, and inventory decisions
- Define and track critical KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level, and inventory performance
- Take ownership of inventory strategy, setting optimal stock levels and balancing availability with financial targets
- Identify risks and opportunities across the supply chain, proactively hedging against short- and long-term disruptions
- Drive continuous improvement—enhancing forecasting models, processes, and tools in collaboration with IT
- Monitor and reduce stock obsolescence and excess inventory, working closely with Finance and Commercial teams
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or a similar analytical role
- Advanced Excel expertise (essential) particularly in forecasting, modelling, and building ad-hoc analytical tools
- Strong experience with data analysis and translating insights into business decisions
- Familiarity with planning systems such as SAP, BW, or similar ERP tools
- Exposure to Power BI or other data visualisation tools is highly desirable
- Experience working in international or multi-market environments is a plus
- Understanding of planning methodologies, S&OP processes, and inventory management principles
Key Skills & Attributes
- Highly analytical with a strong commercial mindset
- Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders across multiple functions
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a matrix structure
Why This Role?
- High visibility role with real impact on business performance
- Opportunity to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders and global teams
- Exposure to product strategy, commercial planning, and international markets
- A chance to shape and improve forecasting processes, not just maintain them
- Central Dublin location with a competitive salary, with the opportunity to learn and grow within a Global organisation.
If you have the relevant experience and ready for your next move, we would love to speak with you this week.
