Full job description

My client, a leading supplier and distributor in Ireland, seeks to hire a BDM to grow the business in Ireland.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Galway, with some remote work.

As a Business Development Manager, your main job is to grow the business. You will find new clients, build strong relationships, and help companies enter or expand in the MedTech market.

You will also work closely with your team and clients to deliver the best solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Find and develop new business opportunities
  • Build and manage strong client relationships
  • Create plans to help grow the business
  • Research the market and track industry trends
  • Manage the full sales process from start to finish
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Keep records of sales activity and report on progress
  • Work with internal teams to support client needs

Key Requirements

  • Experience in business development or sales
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Some knowledge of the MedTech or medical device industry is helpful
  • Experience using CRM systems is an advantage
  • Able to work both independently and in a team
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or Engineering.
  • Willing to travel when needed
