Food & Retail Sales Assistant - Kildare Village


Description

The opportunity has arisen for Food & Retail Sales Assistant to work in our Kildare Village store. These roles are being considered on a part time basis with an immediate start.


Responsibilities

  • A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
  • Point of Sales system - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
  • Replenishing stock, ensuring the Food & Retail offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
  • Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Advising & serving customers.
  • Promoting store cards or special offers.
  • Assisting with the arrangement of window displays.
  • Meet pre-determined sales targets.
  • Making sure the store remains tidy.


Requirements

  • Cleanliness/Organisation is essential in this role.
  • Excellent timekeeping is a key requirement.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • The capacity to use your initiative.
