Full job description

Medical Administrator/receptionist for busy GP Practice in Sandyford.

Suitable candidate:

  • Administration experience is essential preferably 1+ year
  • Confident and excellent decision maker
  • Must be Flexible to cover annual leave and extra days where required
  • Socrates user friendly an advantage (training will be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills and IT skills required
  • Communicate effectively with patients both in person and on the phone
  • Liaise with doctors and staff efficiently
  • The ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Be very patient focused, managing sensitive and confidential information
  • Provide excellent secretarial and administrative services
  • Work well under pressure in a busy environment
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in respect of date entry

The right candidate should be confident, enthusiastic, empathetic and professional, a good communicator who can multitask and enjoy working as part of a team, have strong computer skills and must be flexible to cover annual leave, sick leave etc.
