Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated QC Laboratory Technician to join our team . This role is integral to supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. Requirements
Role Functions:
- Operate as part of the QC team performing the allocated laboratory-based duties.
- Participate in QC daily meetings and ensure effective communication of laboratory task progress.
- Ensure that all Quality Systems within the department are always adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day-to-day activities and all applicable job functions, including maintenance of accurate records.
- Participate in problem solving to get to root cause of issues.
- Provide support with audit/inspection requirements to ensure department compliance/readiness.
- Assist analysts with tasks such as gathering materials, labelling, preparing solutions, disposing of solutions, etc.
- Generate, review and archive of documentation as appropriate.
- Participate in laboratory-based duties as required, including but not limited to, pH calibrations, balance calibrations, gathering materials, labelling, preparing solutions.
- Assist with sample management, sample disposal and expiry check tasks.
- Wash and dry glassware and distributes to appropriate locations in the laboratories.
- Maintain glass washing areas, keeping them clean and organized.
- Remove pharmaceutical waste from the laboratories.
- Ensures lab stations are clean, organized and properly stocked with supplies.
- Perform laboratory Gembas, ensuring 5S compliance.
- Collaborating with others by sharing your skill set and expertise
- Build on presentation skills and participate in site metrics
- Possibility of performing shift operations in line with business needs
Experience:
Minimum: Level 5 qualification (or equivalent secondary school credential), preferably with passing marks in science subjects (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, or Physics).- Preferred: Level 6 or Level 7 qualification in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology or a related scientific discipline.
