Full job description

SECURITY GUARD

We are looking for an experienced security guard to join our team. If you’re fluent in English, have a strong background in security and possess excellent customer service skills, we would like to hear from you.

Shift pattern: 7 shifts per fortnight (alternating between day- and nightshift)

Working hours: 12 hours per shift.

Hourly rate: €15.50 per hour.

Location: Sandyford.

Key responsibilities:

· Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

· Log incidents and generate accurate reports.

· Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals.

· Handle public interactions with confidence, confidentiality and professionalism.

· Work independently and demonstrate a flexible approach within the team.

· Adhere to high standards of personal presentation.

Qualifications and experience:

· Minimum 9 months experience in a similar Security Guard role.

· Hold a valid PSA Static license.

· Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

· Familiarity with incident logging and reporting

· Ability to work confidently with the public.

· Comfortable working unsupervised, and as part of a team.

· Reliable transportation available to candidate for all shift patterns.

Mandatory requirements:

· Possession of a current P.S.A. Static Guard license.

· Strong command of oral and written English, other language abilities are a plus.

· Documentation of a minimum 2-year period for vetting purposes (eg work service certificates, education records, training certificates, Dept of Social Protection documentation).

Category B Driver’s license is advantageous

Proficiency in using a PC/Laptop

Access to personal transport for commuting to work is desirable
