Fingleton White provide multidiscipline engineering services for the energy industry. We provide a full range of design, construction and commissioning services and are active across many sectors including Renewables, Gas Networks, Water, Energy & Utilities, and Asset Management. Position:

The Role….


Senior Accounts Administrator – REF: 2626


The successful applicant will work as part of our finance team in our head office in Portlaoise.


The role will incorporate the following duties:


  • Ledger Management - processing and reconciling accounts receivable (AR) including Intercompany
  • AR - Oversee end-to-end billing and collection process
  • AR - Liaising with clients to resolve queries and manage credit control
  • Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of the AR function to enhance efficiency
  • Support month-end close procedures
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts and account reconciliations
  • Assisting with preparation of year-end financial accounts and audit
  • Preparing Bank Reconciliations, investigating, and resolving discrepancies
  • Scope to work in other areas of accounts

Requirements:

The Candidate….


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience relevant to the above duties
  • Accounting or other relevant qualification desirable but not essential
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with other sector leads and clients
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • Strong MS Office skills – Excel, Word, Teams
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Strong IT skills
