Full job description
HelloFresh Ireland is in an exciting growth phase - expanding customer choice, deepening menu relevance, and driving long-term loyalty in a fast-growing market. As our Senior Product Manager, you will own the product space, driving impact across product strategy, product operations, and culinary workstreams. You will lead a talented, dedicated team and serve as the strategic engine behind what makes our boxes brilliant for Irish customers.
This is not a technology product role. You will work across the full value chain - from ingredient sourcing and culinary development through to menu strategy, editorial execution, and customer experience - making decisions that directly impact what lands on our customers' doorsteps every week. You will need the ability to operate at pace, cut through complexity, and bring teams and stakeholders with you.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Strategic business planning: Reviewing product KPIs and guiding the team to improve the product offering - balancing short-term operations with long-term strategic direction, and owning the product investment calendar to increase retention while optimising for revenue and costs.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating and building strong relationships with Operations, Marketing, and international teams - being the voice of the physical product for HelloFresh Ireland, advising on coherent processes between functions, and ensuring a coordinated approach to product initiatives across local and global stakeholders.
- Process optimisation: Identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve how we work - across teams and with key partners - and aligning operational improvements with the strategic direction.
- Analytical decision making: Working with the team to ensure access to the relevant information, analyses, and insights needed to make informed product development decisions and translate the product vision into action.
- Business case development: Developing business cases around physical product improvements and product-related processes (e.g. changes in product offering, tooling, and automations), and making data-led recommendations to Ireland and global teams.
- People management: Leading, developing and inspiring teams spanning Culinary, Physical Product Strategy, and Product Operations - setting clear strategic direction, cultivating a high-performing culture, and supporting each team member's growth across different career stages.
Who You Are:
- Senior experience in product, category, or commercial - ideally food, FMCG, meal kits, or subscription.
- A genuine passion for food, with the ability to translate taste trends and market signals into compelling product offerings.
- Proven people leadership across different career stages - coaching, clear direction, and investment in growth.
- Strong commercial acumen - connecting product decisions to business outcomes including revenue and retention.
- Excellent cross-functional influence - aligning teams toward a shared goal without needing formal authority.
- Organised and structured, with strong project management skills and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills - able to drill into detail, connect findings to the big picture, and present insights clearly.
- Customer-centric, with creative thinking to identify unmet needs and develop solutions that address them.
- A bias for action - moving quickly without sacrificing quality, bringing momentum to the teams around you.
- Sharp problem-solving instincts - comfortable with ambiguity and confident driving toward solutions.
- At home in lean, agile environments - able to do more with less and build from the ground up.
- Comfortable in Excel and Google Suite.
Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don't "tick all the boxes" but think you'd thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
What you will get in return:
- The chance to have a serious impact on one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe in an exciting growth phase
- Direct, high impact on our Operations setup from day one
- A vibrant, international environment with mission-driven colleagues
- A guaranteed steep learning curve & boost for your career
- Benefit from our selection of employee perks (70% off your HelloFresh boxes, private health insurance, employer matching pension program, cycle to work scheme, Mental health first aiders and an employee assistance programme, gym membership etc.)
Location: Dublin Docklands, Ireland
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have the independent right to work in ROI, as we're unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
Hybrid Working Policy
We offer a hybrid working policy for eligible roles, allowing flexibility to work from home and in the office. For more details on eligibility and how this applies to the role you're applying for, please consult with your recruiter.
Next steps: Your application will be reviewed and if successful, a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch within 2 weeks.
You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring you take reasonable care of your own health, and safety as well as others who may be affected by the work activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment, we will process criminal and background checks to the successful individual. Failure to disclose relevant information at application or throughout the process could affect your employment with the company.
