You will support our team as a:
Moulding Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Lead the introduction of new tools and technologies, from trials with toolmakers to in-house set-ups, qualification runs and handovers, ensuring we stay at the cutting edge of manufacturing excellence.
  • Collaborate with talented engineers and cross-functional partners to design, build and debug new systems, tooling and automation that drive quality and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of validation activities including IQ, OQ and PQ, generating robust process windows and completing protocols and reports with accuracy.
  • Run designed experiments (DOE) to optimise processes, improve yields, reduce cycle times and continually raise performance standards.
  • Act as a trusted liaison with customers, suppliers and toolmakers, representing our commitment to quality, partnership and innovation.
  • Take responsibility for Moulding Process Systems including setting sheets, process controls and deviations that support consistency and compliance.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support, empowering team leaders, technicians and operators to succeed.
  • Work closely each day with colleagues in Tool Room, Maintenance, Production and Quality, collaborating in a culture where everyone's voice matters.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programmes for moulding and ancillary equipment, ensuring reliability that our customers and patients can depend on.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Polymer or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 2 to 3 years of hands-on moulding experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles, quality systems and validation requirements.
  • A natural ability for innovative problem solving supported by structured methodologies and a drive to find better, smarter ways of working.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enjoying collaboration and building positive relationships.
  • Proven experience leading projects, coordinating priorities and delivering meaningful results.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing work that stands up to scrutiny.
  • The ability to stay adaptable and focused in a highly technical and evolving environment.
  • Experience with measurement systems, process validations, DOE and IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
  • Experience in cleanroom or medical moulding is an advantage but not essential.
