Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners, and advisers across EMEA. We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle-office capabilities with execution, settlement, and custody services. These offerings are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework, as well as deep client asset expertise.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Providing day-to-day support to Pershing trading desks and clients across a range of trade support activities.
  • Managing queries from clients and counterparties, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional resolution.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external counterparties to support timely trade booking and settlement.
  • Performing daily reconciliation of broker-to-broker trade bookings and investigating any discrepancies identified.
  • Investigating and resolving complex operational queries with a strong focus on risk mitigation, control, and client service.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and the client experience.
  • Demonstrating a continuous learning mindset and proactively seeking opportunities for self-development and growth.
  • Supporting an increasingly digital operating model by embracing new technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve workflows and outcomes.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Experience in, or knowledge of, middle-office and/or back-office processes within financial services preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex operational processes and investigate issues effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience working with clients, customers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders in a service-oriented environment.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to take initiative and drive issues to resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong risk awareness and control mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Comfort working in an evolving, technology-enabled environment, with openness to adopting AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client outcomes.
  • Ability to identify repetitive or manual tasks and contribute ideas to simplify processes, reduce operational breaks, and improve straight-through processing.
  • Interest in using data, workflow insights, and operational metrics to support process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to partner across Operations, Technology, and Risk teams to support the controlled and compliant adoption of digital capabilities.
