Full job description

Pat Loftus Construction an established Building and Civil Engineering firm, is seeking a Project Engineer to help manage and support the delivery of a number of high profile building projects across the Offaly area.

The successful candidate will provide technical oversight and oversee civils and building works across a number of projects. Duties may include, surveying and setting out, client liaison, the coordination of site health and safety, coordination of site activities including sub-contractors, verifying technical details/quality, and BCAR compliance for project handover.

The role is ideally suited to a site engineer or graduate with relevant experience who is looking to step into a new role with the opportunity for real career progression.

Responsibilities include;

  • Supervision of the construction site, including overseeing works of sub-contractors
  • Setting out and quality control on building / civil activities. Quality reporting.
  • Oversee the running of site with regards to health & safety, programme and quality.
  • Liaising with a range of professionals i.e. ER, Designers, QS, Engineers, Architects.
  • Responsible for all document control as an integral part of the project control.
  • Liaising with internal delivery and commercial teams on bids, new projects and site reports.
