Relief Social Care Worker

Children's Residential Services - Dublin Region

Future Foundations Support Ltd is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Relief Social Care Workers to support children's residential services across the Dublin region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
• Build positive and professional relationships with young people, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
• Contribute to a safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed environment.
• Support young people in developing life skills, education goals, and personal aspirations.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and care planning as required.
• Adhere to all organisational, safeguarding, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Work as part of a team within a 24-hour residential service, including evening, overnight, and weekend shifts where required.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• A recognised Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent discipline.
• CORU registration, or evidence of application.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and professional care practice.

Desirable:

• Experience working with children and young people in residential care or a related setting.
• Training or experience in trauma-informed and attachment-based practice.
• Full Irish Driving Licence.

Rates of Pay

Monday - Friday Day Shift : €25 per hour

Saturday Day Shift: €27 per hour

Monday - Saturday Night Shift: €29 per hour

Sunday & Bank Holiday Rate: €50 per hour
