The Role

The role of the Project Estate Officer is critical in Dublin City Council’s estates, complexes, one off housing units and group housing e.g. Traveller Accommodation. Successful candidates could be based in one of a number of Council Area Offices or within the Housing Department depending on the area they are assigned to. Candidates may also be assigned to Travellers or Homeless Services where necessary.

The Project Estate Officer (PEO) provides advice to tenants and ensures that the welfare of tenants is maintained. The PEO is responsible for providing an effective estate management service, responding to complaints or incidents of anti-social behaviour, promoting improvements of the area, giving advice to tenants, obtaining information regarding property vacancies in the area, arranging for the prompt securing of vacant dwellings, liaison and collaboration with colleagues across Area Services, the Housing Department and other Departments and other State Agencies as appropriate in the delivery of services, monitoring of inter-department functions in the area. The role of PEO also includes the promotion and support of area improvement initiatives and the monitoring of inter departmental functions in their assigned areas.





Salary: 58,474 - 71,437
