Solar Sales Executive – Join Ireland’s Fastest‑Growing Solar Team

New Energy is one of Ireland’s fastest‑growing solar companies. We install Solar PV systems for homes, businesses, and community projects nationwide and we’re expanding our Dublin office.

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised Solar Sales Executive to join our team. This is a varied role combining telephone sales, field sales, customer service, solar industry knowledge and administration.

We’re looking for someone confident speaking with customers, commercially minded, capable of progressing and closing sales and highly organised in managing the administration behind each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming solar PV enquiries by phone and email
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Speak confidently with prospective customers about their energy needs and available solar solutions
  • Follow up quotations, consultations, and previous enquiries
  • Convert qualified enquiries into consultations and sales
  • Take ownership of customer follow‑up to ensure opportunities stay warm
  • Maintain and manage the sales pipeline
  • Explain solar PV systems, battery storage, EV charging and related products in clear, simple language
  • Assist customers in understanding system options and the installation process
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM/job‑management system
  • Prepare and send quotations, customer information and supporting documentation
  • Schedule consultations, surveys and customer appointments
  • Follow up on outstanding information and documentation
  • Assist with general sales and operational administration
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager and installation teams as customers progress through the installation process
  • Ensure customer queries are followed through and resolved
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the customer journey

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in solar PV or renewable energy (strongly preferred)
  • Confident communicator with strong customer‑facing skills
  • Commercially minded and comfortable progressing and closing sales
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple customer files and follow‑ups
  • Strong telephone manner and professional email communication
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growing environment
